Feedback is being sought from transport operators, industry and government bodies to help plan new framework to measure Australia’s land transport productivity.
The NTC’s Chief executive Paul Retter said the framework will give decision makers a better idea of the industry so that they can improve it.
According to Retter this project will allow for the better strategies, action plans and future decisions for Australia’s roads.
The framework will be presented to transport ministers at the Transport and Infrastructure Council meeting to take place in November 2017.
