A truck driver has been ordered off the road after he was stopped and tested, revealing that he was under the influence of methamphetamine. The man was driving a heavy vehicle at the time.
Police intercepted the driver and issued a roadside drug test. He tested positive and further tests revealed methamphetamine was present.
The man appeared in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court where he was ordered to pay a $400 fine and was disqualified from driving for one month.
