An unmanned truck has smashed into a Sydney home as its inhabitants slept.
A north-west Sydney family were forced into temporary accommodation after a truck crashed into their home. They were awoken at 6am by a loud bang when a neighbours truck had rolled across the road and into their garage.
The truck’s driver had left the vehicle to attach a second trailer, forgetting to apply the handbrake, when the vehicle rolled.
Thankfully the family and their 2 dogs were not injured in the incident and their insurance company has arranged temporary accommodation while their house is being attended to.
