The teenager was struck by the heavy vehicle in Melton South recently on Brooklyn Road. He suffered suspected head injuries. The boy was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital where he remains critical. The truck driver is said to be assisting in the investigations but the exact cause of the crash is not yet known.
